Trapping Pigeons

Will be trapping pigeons for dog training purposes in the spring.....does anybody know if it's legal to trap pigeons within Edmonton city limits?....Any tips/Techniques would be appreciated .....Thanks in advance....Andrian

I could not even begin to guess about the legalities in your area, but I do know how to catch pigeons.

Try going under bridges at night with a long handled net and a spotlight. Shine the light in the bird's face and put the net in front of the bird and pester them into flying into the net. A cage for the captures would be a good idea.
