Looking for Hare/Rabbit & Squirrel hunting

Hello guys,

I would like to do some hare/rabbits & squirrel hunting near Calgary, would someone point out some good spots?
On Alberta Hunting Regulation it says Red Squirrel can be hunted without license on private lands. Can I hunt squirrels on public lands like in the woods if I see one( grey/black squirrels)?

Yo can shoot black/grey squirrels on crown land because they aren’t red squirrels. Black squirrels are invasive, I’m starting to see them outside of Calgary but not that much yet.
