Bolted up a new 6mmbr McGowan onto a 950T Palma action, trimmed a bunch of brass, and going to do some function testing in the next few days on that one and a
Light Sporter on a Mauser action that Custom Gunworks did with a Jury barrel in 244AI .

I built me a bunch of 6.5PRC target rounds. This little neck turner sure works great.

Just reloaded some 22 250 since I just got the bullets in the mail about a day ago thanks to a couple real decent guys from AO who helped me out.

Loaded up some 7mm rem mag incase the wolves are to far out for the 22 250,accubonds 160.

Resized this week some 300 nosler 300 win brass, 200 7mm norma's for next year and some for this year ,seems reloader 26 likes the accubonds in my 7mm.

In the next few days I will reload some 140 and 150 TTSX in my 7mm RM and test them out once this -35 crap is gone, Saturday I will head out, my bench is already loaded in my truck.

I'm just shopping around for a new chronograph .Kind of waiting for the xmas shipping to slow down to get it shipped if i can find a decent one for the right price that is dependable in all kind of weather .

Set up and bedded a rail on a Mauser. Danged initial screws were drilled off center!

I was fortunate to pick up a new/used Lee reloading press and accessories. I disbursed a lot of equipment a few years back, but now that we are settled in our new place in Carstairs, I have the room and time.
Plan to reload some 22-250, 300 wm, 308 and 243 win...maybe 6.5x55...
It feels good to have the gun room and all the toys and equipment in one spot. Just waiting on a build for a reload bench, and I'll be ready

Got to try out my shell holder that I had turned down 0.010” and voila! Finally solved my issue of not being able to bump the shoulder on my fire formed 6mmAI brass. Trimmed, chamfered, deburred and it is currently tumbling. Sized 80 22-250 brass for a friend. Will be getting on loading up a ladder for those tomorrow after I finish prep this afternoon.

Cool, I haven't had any issues with my 6mmAI brass in that regard, however, all the once fired stuff I got when I initially set my rifle up is done, stretched pockets , etc.
Found 150 same lot new Hornady brass soo am shooting that.
Going into the shop today to install a recoil pad on the newest 6mmAI, then it is off to the range for function testing and initial load development.

Excellent Cat. I’m glad you’re enjoying the cartridge. I had the same results with the die I kept and sold you. Wasn’t a die or brass issue at all. Nearest I can figure is it was chambered just a smidge short and my brass isn’t blowing out enough to allow the die to bump the shoulder back. Once that material was removed, I got the result I wanted right away. I’m working on my last 100 Rem brass currently and have 60 new Norma that I’ve been saving for a rainy day. I’ve got a bunch of Win once fired if you ever happen to be in a pickle too FYI.

Another couple hundred cartridges of 300 win mag brass chamfered, deburred, flash holes deburred, and trimmed to length. Busy night.

Working on my Lapua 6.5x284 brass.

Loaded a bunch of 22-250 with 36 gr. Barnes Varmint grenades'. Sounds like a weird combo I know but man do they shoot and should work well on the gophers this spring.

Spent a bit of time at the bench over the last couple of days.

Loaded 50 rounds for the .260 with Nosler 130 gr. Accubonds over 42.5 grs. of H4350 in Lapua brass. Then built some test loads for the .260 with Barnes 120 gr. TTSX's over Reloder 16 in Lapua brass.

Prepped 150 rounds of 22-250 brass, then loaded 40 rounds with Sierra 53 gr. HP Match Kings over IMR 4064, then loaded 60 rounds with Sierra 60 gr. HP Varminters and Varget.

Yesterday my son came over and we loaded 50 rounds for his .223 with Nosler 60 gr. BT BTs over 24.0 grs. of Benchmark.

I had a 100 Hornady 55 gr BTSPs so I loaded up 25 rounds for the 223 with 3 different loads of CFE223 hoping one will be good enough for plinking gophers.

For the first time one of my rounds would not seat completely into a Lyman Ammo Checker. About 2mm from completely seating yet it would seat perfectly into a Lyman case gage.

Got a bunch of ammo ready for a 280AI for a friend that I will function test and zero tomorrow , and 50 more for my new 6mmBR, now that I know where I need to be with it.
First round of testing for the Mauser with the Jury Barrel on it as well.
Tomorrow is going to be busy.

It’s my first day reloading and I just finished de priming and resizing 50 pieces of 7mm rem mag brass. I still have 150 more pieces and I’m quite enjoying it and I don’t even think it’s the best part yet. I’m hooked!

Changed up and stippled the grip on my factory 950T to match the grip on my Jom Duggan built Sportco so ugly in easier to shoot offhand .
And prepped one of my .22 match rifles for 300 Meters.
Will try both tomorrow .

Extracting another case that sheared off on my latest 6mmBR project rifle!
Time to toss that lot I think, they have many loadings on them in several different rifles!
