Default Bird Dog Kennels

Hey whats everyone running for bird dog kennels? Would love to get my hands on a Gunner Kennel but the shipping to Canada is unreal. I have looked a Ruff lands from cabelas and they seem okay, but would prefer that gunner or lucky duck kennel quality and build. Im unsure if there is a Canadian version or if i just have to suck it up and pay the shipping lol

Most places have free shipping in the States. Ship it to a border parcel service and then pick it up, for after Covid, or hire the Courier service out of Calgary, they will bring it to Calgary or Edmonton pretty cheap from Montana parcel drop..

DYK postal sux. They draw you in at reasonable postage rates but charge you in US dollars at their exchange rate. Few weeks ago was $1:51 and would not accept US currency nor credit card exchange rate. If it looks to good to be true it is.

Look up clubmead kennels. Stu brought a bunch back this spring. Not sure if he sold out all inventory of gunner kennels

I paid them with a U.S. dollar Visa card so I wasn't aware of that issue.

Have you looked at Zingerwinger? They are Canadian and make their own kennels.

Call Diana Mead of Clubmead Pet Resort at 780-387-0413. They carry Dakota 283 which is on par with Gunner Kennels.

A couple of people in our Kamloops Gun Dog club have kennels from Nikanda... appears they are located in Calgary. I too like the Gunners but this seems to be a nice option and I like the idea of being able to customize the size exactly to your needs.

I also like the idea of having a cut out done in the back to mount this fan...

They have lots of pictures on Facebook. I was going to put in an order for one the next time I’m headed through Calgary.
