Nice fish congrats, seems like it's been a pretty decent March. We got back from a trip about a week ago and it was pretty good for the most part.
Had one day that the fish seemed to be just completely off but decided to relax a bit rather than keep on chasing them.

And now on to summer plans can't wait to go back.

Thumbs up And that’s a wrap!

What a season of snow, snow and more snow....toss in some high winds and cold temps....ohhh and mid winter rain and melting snow too

January and March did not disappoint though, got to meet some awesome forum people and got a skidoo on order

I did mean to thank you and 58thCat for the replies earlier, but didn't get to it. We tried to head down the Marie Lake Camp road, but got turned around half way due to ruts. Machine only was accurate, except maybe a truck or SUV with good clearance. I noticed another road to the souoth that was plowed but never bothered to try it, since google maps suggests that its mostly private property and no lake access. Fishing on the west side of Cold Lake was machine or walk-on only from English Bay, so we walked and made the best of it. Only caught two lakers, with a few misses and non-committers (must have been males ). Perhaps i'll finally get around to trying Cold Lake open water this year!

cheers!

No kidding. All the areas to the East got a lot of snow. Cold Lake area really got a lot. Must be one big melt going on! Good for river and lake levels

Thanks for the help this season Greg and others who helped with our first foray in January (seems so long ago now)..we're looking forward to next season already. I may pop out this summer and fish with some forum members as well if we can get the days to line up.

Ahh looks like it worked like a charm. Glad they got it out of there sooner rather than later.
