Default Holiday Trailer Tires

Running Goodyear Marathons right now. They are 6 years old now. No problems to date and they still look good but thinking I should probably change them as I'll be heading South for a couple of weeks this summer. Anything better than the Chinese Marathons out there?

The new Goodyear Endurance is actually all USA production and is a really solid trailer tire, but it is definitely a bit more spendy compared to the offshore produced tires, but if you want the best, they are considered to be top of the line. If you are wanting to keep the costs down a bit, I have always had good luck with the Carlisle line. IMHO they are arguably the most reliable of the Chinese built trailer tires.

This ^^^^^ I replaced my 10 yr. old china bombs with 235-85/16 10 ply Goodyear Endurance, they have good reviews with the RV users.

Cost me 960.00$

Goodyears are the only ones I'd consider running. Nay to ALL of the China bombs

Thanks for the comments. I've had good luck with the Marathons but wanted to see what else was out there. I will likely try the USA made ones this time around.

If you want to bomb down highway at 130km/hr suggest buy good quality Goodyear with few extra plies. If you want to pull your trailer at a sensible speed then Chinese tires will work.
