Default Oddball

Took theses pics the other day can you spot the different one. That little white tail has been hanging around with them mule deer for the last few months. He is quite aggresive too, as there are a couple of bigger muley bucks in the herd he pushes around from time to time.

Proves the point the deer can read hunting regs the whitetail knows that he is general and the mulies are on a draw so he uses them for cover.Ha great pics not often you would see that I would think cheers Andy

Default He's back

The odd ball is back and is trying to breed the mulie does. I watched him tonight chase the does, lip curl and even go over and smell the does urine. it was wild to watch got a little video of it too.

Gezz WB, I'm sure a man with your knowledge could easily see, genetically that, that mule deer, and a whitetail deer, share genetic traits. 4 legs, a heart, eyes, etc... Open your mind.....lol

So you guys think there are no WT genetics on that muley i took with my bow,, looks pretty suspect with the main frame and point distribution,, i could be out in left feild,, however it does look suspect to me, and not the only deer ive seen with this kind of point distibution, in several different areas ive hunted as well, could it possibly be a hybrid?

Antler configuration really has little correlation to whether a deer is a hybrid or not. I'd say he's a mulie with weird antlers. Could it possibly be a hybrid....sure Is it likely that it is....nope.

Good enough,, sometimes its better to listen than make assumptions,,ive had 4 seperate individuals that have looked at this buck and said the same thing that he was a cross,, however its still a great trophy witht he bow and i wouldnt pass up the experience,, by any means,,
