Default The start of my season

Well night before we head out to elk camp this happens. Foot is black and blue with 6 stitches. Hobbling pretty good. Still came out though and first morning out had a nice 5x5 at 30 yards. Didn't have a shot tho. Right now hanging out at camp while buddies are out hunting, taking it easy on the foot. Guess I'm on camper clean up and supper duties tonight.

Ya that looks like it hurt. Gotta ask, was alcohol a contributing factor? Everyone knows splitting wood and axes dont mix.

Haha, not that I haven't chopped wood after having a few, but this was from a steel plate being dropped on my foot. We were putting the campfire out before bed and buddy got the plate to cover it and misjudged how far away my foot was when he dropped it. Well the piece of rebar welded into the plate caught my foot.

x2 My exact thoughts. Guessing an axe was involved, or a trailer hitch.

Ouch, I feel for you man. I sprained my ankle a week ago at work and have been hobbling around looking for a good mulie to arrow. Takes a little longer to put the miles on now. Hope for a quick recovery!
