Just a heads up, anyone wanting to drive the Parkway, it is closed for avalanche hazards. Closed from Sask. crossing to Jasper.

Yes, thanks for info. Travel it often in the winter and aside from issues with road conditions, closure is often quick and unannounced.

Chuckle....always carry a bag of cookies to leave with vehicles stranded, as road is often too icy to pull them out. Sometimes have done the 2am "sweep".
Glacier is spectacular in winter with a full moon and storm coming off the upper icefield.
