You can still enjoy the deer, as it's real. Story behind it seems to be in question.

Could be a case of twins seperated at birth. Lets wait for this to play out.

Play out? If you guys think I photoshopped this you are wrong. It was sent to me by my cousin who got it from the a guy that hunts with this kid. Hell I don't even know how to use photoshop.

If it is photoshopped then oh well my bad for taking someone's word for it about this being legit. I received the picture and was happy for the young guy and thought that the "outdoorsmen" on this site would enjoy seeing a picture of a big deer.

Sorry for the waste of everyone's precious time

Pretty sure no one is pointing the finger at you Kale, most people wouldn't have looked for the photoshopped evidence when they get a pic from someone they know. That's the best gag going with hunters.....

"Play Out"? I guess that's for me. I never suggested or even thought that you photoshpped the buck. I made a joke. You where taken by your buddy. Laugh about it. That's what I'm doing.

If you don't find it funny, email your buddy and tell him to grow up and quit wasting your time.

The only thing true about this story is what the OP said about MB talking about shutting down the deer hunt for a few years. That is the third time I have heard that.

My cousin says it is the worst he has seen since the last time they did a shut-down in the 70's. The deer are gone...

...and T wolves and yotes are at an all time high.

The face looks photoshopped, nice buck non the less.

I talked to my dad today, he told me he heard the same thing.

Hes getting out in SW Mb tomorow, him and his old buddy.
I dont know why he hunts down there, he owns some awesome deer land in the Interlake...but theyve been hunting down south of Virden for years.

dad can hardly walk anymore....you never know when it will be his last time out.

Wish him luck guys.

Worst I've seen it in 30 plus years. The late May storm finished off some herds that were already struggling and the dogs are abundant and wolves where we've never had or seen wolves in my lifetime.

Although I didn't deer hunt this season, I still chat with guys who are out.
This AB forum is the first I've heard of this possible closure. Not even a sniff of this subject on the local hunting forum.

It's definitely been tough for most hunters this season. I'm sure the snow will help for the last part of the season.
