Smile Deer in 206?

Now I know that the Province has a method to FAX to all the deer when the season opens and closes, I've been told this many times and I now believe it.

Last night just before dark when driving home I passed one doe who was munching some grass on the other side of the fence from me about 10 yards away, as I drove further and got the the highway the was a small herd of wts (I didn't see a buck) in the middle of the 1/4 section that borders the highway. The land was flat as a pancake with no cover. They paid me no notice as I came to a stop at the intersection.

Yesterday I met one in the middle of the road just as it was getting light.

What I would like to know did any one here shoot a deer in 206? I'm not recommending exterminating the herd or anything like that but I don't want a car crash either.
