Winterizing I/O Boat, Quick Question
So I have a 19' Inboard/outboard that I recently winterized.
305 GM V8.
I did the usual, put fuel stabizer in, topped off tank, changed oil and filter, fuel filter, cleaned flame arrestor, drained and filled leg oil, charged battery, ran RV antifreeze into the block and fogged the engine.
My question is this, after I ran the RV antifreeze through the block (to expel any water, obviously), i drained all of the antifreeze out of the engine (there are 6 small drains on it).
Thinking back, maybe I should have left the antifreeze in the block to prevent any condensation buildup? Or is this the preferred method ?? Or does it matter??
Thanks
