Default mule deer help

ive never shot one yet and i really want to is there anywhere around slave lake and edmonton or swanhills that could possibly have some not looking for youre hot spots just a general direction i only have few days left to hunt! and do they answer to regular grunts and doe bleats ?

check the regs as 90% of alberrta is draw for muledeer .. might have to drive further west to find a general season on mulies

People hunted before laptops and cell phones? Preposterous. Next you'll be telling me that the First Nations didn't even have GPS units?

Try picking up a paper copy of this-most outdoors suppliers have one, its got a good paper map of all the sites that allow hunting.

Not sure but you can check if theres any undersubscribed Mule deer special licences on RELM. I got a mule doe tag just now as I have permisssion in WMU 246 ....

Now I havent yet got a mule deer but I had a huge buck walk straight up to me when I was rattling and calling for whitetail. of course I didnt have a tag so I just enjoyed the encounter!
