Beginners Luck
Couldn't be more proud of our 14 year old daughter Emma!
She completed her hunters education course early this spring, for her birthday in June her Great Aunt passed down her remington 7mm 08 and then Emma asked her avid outdoorsman Great Uncle to take her out hunting for a whitetail buck.
By the way Uncle who is battling cancer at the moment couldn't promise her for sure.
So low and behold Uncle got drawn for a bull moose and asked our permission to add her on his tag as a partner so she can shoot his moose.
With written permission to take her out and a youth partners licence in hand the two of them came through on remeberance day weekend.
Sunday morning she got her Whitetail buck and Monday afternoon her bull moose.
Green with envy we are... we still have our own tags to fill, I guess we need uncle too

Congrats on a great season to the young lady and kudos to her uncle for taking the time to mentor a future hunter.
