Default I woke up with two black eyes

just randomly i woke up with two black eyes this morning. it doesn't feel like i took a hit to the face. my girlfriend told me she didn't punch me for snoring. i got a cut today and it clotted like normal too so i doubt it's anything like that.

i actually walked into work this morning, did my thing for about an hour. then when the coffee kicked in and i glanced in the mirror i noticed i had two black eyes. i guess everyone else had noticed and just didn't say anything

what an odd thing to happen

Could be a number of things.

Trauma
Infection
Low platelet count
On blood thinners
Drug reactions

Head to your doctor to at least get it checked out.

This was my initial thought also, but a doctors visit should rule-out other possibilities...

I streched my arms one morning last month and nearly broke my G/F's nose, I woke-up to her bawling her eyes out & holding her face !

I had no idea what was going on...

I would suggest a trip to the eye Dr at minimum or a walk in clinic if you. Can't your family doctor.

I was expecting someone else to wake up with black eyes but he didn't.
At least I know how he managed to injure himself. (riding skateboard on belly down the hill at *on school property*)
the face isnt the only injury

so i called and asked my family doctor. she seemed way more concerned than i was and told me to get there right away. when i got there i told them my name and they said "right this way we have a room reserved" the doctor came right in and checked me out too

the whole time i was thinking oh man i'm probably going to die. right? i mean since when do they tell you to rush in and reserve you a room and you don't have to wait!?

well i have a list a mile long of blood work to do now... off to go get poked.

even though it's most likely a sinus infection lol

Who knew !

I learned something today.

Alergies, consuming too much salt, not getting enough sleep and sleeping face down.
