Yup. Lady I work with had her GMC Terrain stolen about a month ago. They found it there.

I'm quite sure I could round up three short ropes, if someone could start looking for three slightly taller branches, preferably in a very public place....Friggen scum.

Good job by EPS. nice to see the good guys win one.

Great to hear. To bad the scum will be right back in business next week, if it even takes that long.

Probably just the tip of the iceberg. It's a start I guess. Nice to see.

Owner of a shop like that should get three times the jail time of someone who steals the car. They are the "Mr. Big" that enables the whole criminal enterprise. I'd call it organized crime, nail every guy who works there.

80,000. truck? Figure several times over parted out. Sounds like good business.

Pick and pull in Calgary was caught a while back, too. Guy drove by and found his stolen truck getting stripped. While he was trying to get the cops, the forklift came rushing out to take it to the back. Needless to say there are probably many "legal" chop shops around. Too many specialty targets disappearing, and never seen again.

Yeah, I read about this on the Red Deer Crime Prevention page on Facebook. I wonder how many others there are in the province that have yet to be found.

Oh my. I drive by that place all the time. I think I've even bought van/truck parts from them. Talk about hiding in plain sight and doing bad right under the authorities nose's. Sounds like it was just luck that these guys were caught in the first place.
