Funny you brought up NL. Back in the 50's the federal gov't and provincial gov't of NL began the resettlement program. Remote outport communities with no link to the outside world other than boat were resettled closer to larger centres with road access to amenities. Quality of life improved drastically. Maybe it's time for another resettlement program involving FN!! I'd be damned if I'd live somewhere with no clean drinking water for 17 years.
