Yup that's about a half mile from my door step... They live on the edge of town and a few hundred yards from a beaver slew, mr yote was probably patrolling for an easy meal and found one...

Of course F&W is saying it looks more like a dog attack... We shall see I guess.

Well I have spent many a night in the woods, had coyotes follow me, circle around, sit and watch me but never attempt to attack me, they have paced my wife when out running, took after my dog, most have ran off a few ended up taking a dirt nap...stories always get bigger as the writer puts pen to paper.

Not saying a yote won't do this as it has happened in the past.

We continue to allow them to live in cities and loss there fear of man, things will get worse.

I remember a time when us rednecks carried a rifle on the back window of our pickups, the coyotes generally stayed far away from humans.

Them were the good old days. Unfortunately we will never see them again.

Every Coyote I have seen makes a b-line for cover and does not stop until they hit the treeline. Makes good practice for running shots.
