Default portable AC UNIT

Bit the bullet yesterday and bought a portable AC A UNIT FOR THE BEDROOM ,anybody gave any experience with venting outside with casement windows ?

All we did was attach some supports outside the window to support weight of unit. Left most of unit sticking oudside. It helped that it was a sliding window to begin with, then we simply framed a small screen to cover space left over above unit to keep insects out. Good luck on this project.

I cut an Elastoplast board (that plastic stuff that looks like cardboard) the same size as the screen (removed) on my awning window then I made a 6" hole for the vent hose. The top fits in the screen groove with duct tape on the bottom its not pretty but at 30 deg. who cares
