Default .264 win, what load are you using.

Just loaded up a few rounds for my M70, Usual 140gr accubonds with IMR 4350, dropped the load back 1.5 gr as different batch of powder to my last, will work back up, pretty hot even were we are at,

Haven't got any 130gr accubonds yet, But rifle does very well with them, have used up a few packets of Nosler 130gr accubonds factory ammo, "expensive" Funny enough have ammo for rifle at home in Canada, but me and rifle are in New Zealand, not sure how that happened.

Bought a tin of ADI2225 (retumbo) yesterday from H&F, and loaded up with 65-67g and 129 gr sst, hopefully shoot ok, if so will work up until I get sum 130 accubonds, or perhaps the 129gr longrange accubonds.
hoping to get to 3250fps or so with 129-130gr. as primary hunting load.
Must spend a day this winter and recheck speeds, and source sum 130 accubonds, and see how fast I can push them.
Reloader 33 is meant to be very good, alt least speed wise, any one tried it in a .264 win. (lots here in NZ just expensive, $65 Cad)

I am using 63 gr of IMR 7828 with 140 gr Sierra Game king. This rifle is an early 4 digit serial # Remington 700 and this is one of the first combinations I tried. It shoots sub MOA which is good enough for me for a deer gun.

The slower powders like you mentioned should work out great for you. 3200+ FPS should be attainable with 130 great class bullets.

I used the 130 gr Swift Scirocco in mine for quite a while with enough Retumbo to get 3200 fps from a 24" barrel. It was a great load and you have a good chance of getting some good loads in your gun with that powder. I'm using the 156 gr Norma Oryx and 155 gr Lapua Mega now, the Oryx with Retumbo shoots well. The Mega bullet does OK but I'm going to try some Magnum with it next and maybe even IMR 7977 and IMR 7828 ssc if Magnum doesn't work. The Matrix 150 gr VLD is on the list to try as well maybe later this year.

I just picked up an early sako in 264. Only load I tried was a 140 SST with N570.
Ended up at 66 grains which shot very well for a light gun. It was under 1/2 moa
I don't have the speed right now as chronograph didn't have enough light
I was up to 67.5 gr and was at 3235 with the 570 but the groups opened up to around an inch so I went back to 66gr. I likely won't shoot this gun much and I was just trying it out to see how it would shoot. I never even tried differnt seating depths I just picked one and played with the powder charge
The 264 win mag is not the most efficient round compared to my 6.5 mm Sherman that's way faster with less powder

If anyone needs some .264 Win mag brass, I have a lot of once fired stuff and a few that have not been fired.

Ya lucky bugger,
Provide pics or I will have to fly over, join you, and fill my own roasting pan!
