Default Looking for titanium sheet

Anyone have any idea of a company that sell titanium sheet .015mm-.017mm it needs to be 24"x36" I have tried every online metal place even tried sourcing some from china anything over 12"x12" seems non existent. I have talked to all the titanium stove companies they don't have anything over 18" with there suppliers.

If you were looking for the thickness referenced in your post that might be your problem.

I think you want a thickness of .015 inch, not millimeter.

.015mm is .0006, a bit more than half a thousandth....that's tin foil..:-)

Try your local smaller airport. My dad is a retired mechanic back in BC. They used to use it for a few applications. The maintenance shop may have a source.

It appears you are trying to find too light of a gauge for that size of sheet. There are numerous companies that show that size if you jump up to 0.016 to 0.02 inch thickness, any reason you can't use the thicker sheet?

I've dealt with these guys before. Solid dude.

http://www.titaniumgoat.com/windscreens.html

He has an option for 22" wide and any length that you want as long as it's divisible by 6.

I am using the parts from light outdoors 10" stove, but trying to source a larger sheet of titanium for a larger stove body 24" long to heat a 16 man Seek Outside tipi

I have spoken to tigoat I have one of there stoves but they will not be getting in anymore 22" long stoves I am guessing they are running into a source issue

Just to clarify, and in case anybody is confused, it is 0.17mm thick foil you are looking for, you have one too many zero's in there. In fact, you could go for foil anywhere from 0.12mm to 0.17mm, with the higher thickness offering a bit more resistance to dents and damage.

Have you looked for stainless steel instead of titanium? It would be a bit heavier but you might be able to find the size you're after. It would add about 8 ounces to the weight of the stove.
