Default anybody have Info on this area??

Does anybody have any info they are willing to share on WMU 445?

I can't find much of anything about the area. I am planning to do a sheep hunt/ pre-elk scout there this summer. It doesn't seem like there would be many hunters out there (but I did canoe down the Berland this year thinking the same thing and it was loaded with hunters).

anybody ever been out there in the fall? any heads up on what I might find in the way of other hunters, game, access?

I'm gonna check it out this summer, maybe even this Christmas, regardless just figured I would check in here first. and see what the more experienced guys think.

Lots of hunters. Lots of quadders. Even more Gbears. Not many sheep.

Should have figured as much with that two lakes road leading right in there. the place looks scenic as all hell though I figure its at least worth a trip, couldn't possibly have worse luck than I have had to this point. there is literally nothing left to lose haha.

I maybe if I get away up those mountains I can get away from the quads. walking doesn't bother me much.

Good luck. There's a nice quad trail to take you to the top of the mountain. Once you get thru the cobble a the bottom it is actually a nice ride lol. My thoughts would be to fly the area in the fall once leaves are of the trees and find the pack trails.
