Default Overview

"Unfortunately he can't speak French. No point in even attempting to enter the race, let alone become PM."

Actually, he can. He grew up in montreal and conversed in it until he was 7. He let things slip after that though, so his skills are weak. That's why he is already taking french courses and will be debating JT in french when the time comes. Sounded pretty good on air this morning actually.

"Aim a bit higher for your Conservative leaders, guys. O'Leary has no values other than personally making a buck. Oh, and a nasty vain streak too."

Do you mean O'leary or Trudeau? Because that describes the guy in office already.

"The peeons become more gullible as each day goes by.

Another career salesman as a leader of a country? "

I'd take someone that makes money over someone that just prints it any day.

"So what's the best move for a business man? Become a politician, change the rules as they suit their company best. "

So what is the best move for a drama teacher, spoiled child and egotist? Pretend you are something you aren't, to get what you want, all the while posing for the camera.

"Every single one, including Kevin, if he steps in it, would be the very last choice on a friggin kids t ball team. "

I'm sure Kevin would be fine with that, because he cares more about owning the baseball team than playing on it and he probably would.

"I'd elect Brad Wall for PM.

He's the only one standing up to the carbon taxes. "

Kevin lambasted it on the air this morning, but Brad would have my vote in a heartbeat.

"So is he running ? "

Yes, Kevin has already officially announced he is running.

"Can Canada as a whole do us all a favor and not knee jerk vote for this guy as the leader of the only Party that has a chance of not destroying our countries future?"

as opposed to the knee jerk negative reactions to personality....

I don't know if i would vote for O'Leary, because i don't know his POLICIES on everything yet. Some i'm sure i'll disagree with... vehemently. But my number one policy is Canada and what is good for it. Our PM is running Canada into the ground. Any career politicians or socialist policymakers will continue to do that until we are on the verge of collapse and then they'll take your guns anyways.

i'm at the very least amenable to listen to someone that can put Canada back on track financially. If he's all about the money that isn't necessarily bad. We could do worse than to leave the social issues alone. As for the AR15 reference, i used to have the same view until i discovered the real reason that people need to be armed. Perhaps enlightening him would serve you better.

Look, i know Kevin is an egotist, but there are few in politics that aren't. I read all the things about how people don't like him, but if a man gives me $10k do i mind if he only did it because it reduces his taxes? If Kevin wants to make Canada financially sound because it benefits his businesses or himself, guess what? Works for me too. Rising tide raises all boats.

I'm in a wait and see mode, but i think he is a much more serious contender than many here want to believe.

No freakin' way do I want O'Leary as party leader. But that said, I'm voting Conservative next election regardless. I'm assuming that's how a lot of Republicans felt about Trump.

If you don't want Kevin O'Leary as PM, you should buy a membership to the CPC and vote for someone else. For example, Maxime Bernier.

Look buddy, we don't need your practical suggestions around here. We just want to complain.

I didn't think there was anything that could keep me from voting conservative in the next election. Now there may be
O'leary getting in will probably guarantee Trudeau another 4 years......

Poster didn't say anything about loving Hillary. I can't stand Trump, he's a petty, immature ego maniac. That being said I don't like Hillary either, out of touch, out too lunch narcissistic elitist (much like our JT).

You seem to be making an assumption, and you know what they say happens when you assume.

I like the idea of him.....but he isn't Trump. He was a liberal hippy until he made all his money. Believes in a carbon tax and is soft on Islamic terror. I'm personally following Maxime Bernier....cant believe a guy from Quebec would be the Conservative that I'm pulling for, but he seems to be on the right track

From Bernier's website

"Hunting and sport shooting are important parts of Canadian heritage. For too long, gun owners have been disrespected by the government. They shouldn’t have to worry about having their property reclassified and confiscated. Property rights should be respected. The Firearms Act should be reviewed by experts and replaced with effective legislation that protects property rights and cracks down on dangerous criminals"
