Default Strikemaster carb question

Hi all,

Have a question on a Strikemaster Mag 2000 ice auger carb (Tecumseh powerhead). I replaced the plug today and gave the whole powerhead a good cleaning with a rag. While doing so, I noticed that the carb may be missing a spring the helps close the throttle when released. I snapped a picture of the spot that has me curious. Does anyone know if there should be a spring hooked in this small hole? And if so, where I may find one in Edmonton?

Unit starts up and runs fine as it is, but figured I should replace it if it's supposed to be there. Thanks

SS
