Default portable bucksaw

I lost my portable bucksaw this fall hunting. I had one of this one for the last 15 years and it was great.http://www.leevalley.com/en/garden/p...=2,42706,40721
Lee valley does not sell them anymore, so any recommendations for what a guy can buy these days. Looking for the same style of everything fitting inside one tube/package.

I've heard a lot of good about the Boreal 21

Sven Saw has served me well in this category. MEC carries them as well as Canadian tire and cables I believe.

Try contacting the manufacturer, I've owned 2, best pack saw there is

Trail Blazer
100 Ilsley Avenue, Unit-G
NS
B3B 1L3
Dartmouth
Phone Number:
(902) 481-0267
Fax Number:
(902) 481-0263
Toll Free Number:
(800) 565-6564

Actually they went out of business 3 years ago... SVEN saw is the other option and you will be disappointed after using a trailblazer.

EDIT, that Filzer looks identical from MEC

Got one of these bad boys with the nice carrying bag. Looks like the boreal21 was designed taking cues from these.

Design and build strength are excellent. They are able to put a lot more tension on the blade than the Sven saws

I have one of these and it's tight and sturdy... I have had no problems with it

Lotta good ones. If you're willing to consider slightly different, Silky makes the world's best folding saws. Bahco and corona are also good to great quality.

Also Bobs saws or Sven (the last sold at MEC).
