What mix of metal are you using in the Damascus? What type of forge are you using? Really nice work. Every little detail addressed.

Thanks.
The damascus mix is 5160, 52100, 15n20, and 203E
I do not make the damascus myself. I buy it in flat bars and make my knives from it via stock removal.

Your knifes are absolutely gorgeous. I love the blade shapes. In fact I think that my best friend's wife may have ordered a knife from you as a Christmas present for my friend/neighbour. Do you make a crossdraw sheath for your knikes?

Great looking knives, but something isn't passing the sniff test.
Hopefully this isn't you, or you've really changed your operation.

Hi CB
Yes that thread is about me. However there were circumstances that contributed to the lengthy build and the cancelled order mentioned. My father had passed away and I was dealing with all the emotional and financial backlash that comes with that. Eventually the guy got his knife and was very happy with it.
Believe me (or ask any of my customers since) I'm not out trying to scam anyone. I just love making knives for people who appreciate high end tools.
