Default Looking for a specific wildgame cook book

Hello all, I am looking for a cookbook that was authored by Klaus Wockinger the book is called Game. If you have a copy of this book and are willing to sell it I would greatly appreciate it. I am willing to pay market value for it.

happy new year

I bought mine years ago when I was working at the Compleat Cook in Calgary. We had Klaus come in and do a book signing and he made something delish right there. I also took a cooking class from him after that at the Cookbook Company, and he made elk with a green peppercorn sauce...so good.

Did anyone ever eat at La Chaumiere when he was head chef there? Where is he now?

Oh, ya...no, never selling mine!!

Klaus retired to the Okanagan a few years ago.

I did a 3 month stint with him at La Chaumiere in 89 while I was enrolled at Sait

Years later
I worked as a chef for him at Big Rock Grill & at Dantes from 1997-1999

I have a copy as well, but would be reluctant to part with it.
I have cooked every recipe in that book while at his side over the years I worked for him.

A awful lot of my current charcuterie and sausage skills were learned at his side.

He was also my hunting partner for deer, moose and wolves for about 10 years
