Default RIP Dan Goodenow

Thoughts and Prayers to the Family and Friends of Dan Goodenow. Always enjoyed his hunting trips on Shockey's shows. This industry has lost a great ambassador. Anyone on hear able to meet Dan or have any stories? Please share.

I first saw it on Nosler's Facebook page this afternoon, then did some investigating. From what I have read, I'm of the understading that he took his own life.

I attended my cousin's sons funeral about 6 weeks ago, he was 42 and took his own life, I just don't understand it but am told that unless you have ever suffered from depression you never will understand it, sad indeed, RIP Dan I truly hope you found your peace

Just another reminder that depression or any other mental illness doesn't discriminate. Whether young or old, successful or having a hard go of things, it affects all kinds. Our disadvantage as men is so many of us are too damned proud to get help....Get help, it's readily available these days.

I initially heard about his passing early this past summer (died Apr). In all the initial news regarding his death it continually mentioned 'his sudden passing'.
Sad indeed, kinda wish I hadn't heard that he took his own life.
