Meaty he was.....dressed out at 201 lbs.

We where hunting him for about 3 times, but he was a crafty ol' bugger and sticking to the posted land, almost like he was aware of this fact.

After seeing him again for the third morning, we watch him lay down in the bush, again on the posted land. He was right next to a 1/4 that a good friend owns, so around 10:15 AM, we went and did some scouting on the back side of the bush he was in, but we were pretty sure with the wind, he wouldn't be coming our direction.

He, and doe and another little buck were standing in a patch of willows about 400 yards from where he thought he bedded down! And the good luck was with us, as he was in the friends field. 150 yards with a 160 grain Partion from the .308 had him on the ground.

Congrats Man!

Great mass and bladed brows. Are you mounting him?

No mount for this guy......but the horns will go up on a nice chunk of wood and get hung in the garage. Need to finish my basement so I have a place to display him in a proper fashion!

Thanks for all the comments.
