Default Hudson hope elk

Heading for a elk hunt early sept by H,H, private land ,any idea of the quality of elk out that way thanks.

I seen a cranker bull some years back just east of Chetwynd while I was up there working in August.
Goodluck, should be a great hunt.

I'm heading up just west of chetwynd, for a hunt. My first time up that way, so I cant give you any advise. But I'll bump this thread. And will be following.

Worked in HH fall before last. Lots of elk up the Farrell Creek road on top of the river valley. Its private land but there a ton of elk in there. Also lots on the edge of the bush on the beryl prairie road. Didn't see any crankers but saw some respectable bulls for sure. Tons of cow elk and raghorns.

I've got a few good spots for elk up that way, but lately seems like our FN brethren have been hitting it hard a week or two prior to the General Season Opener...

NICE have 6or8 quarters along the river north of hh, Cant wait for sept 1
