Default 6mm Rem info

So I'm just working on some loads for my 6mm. OACL max is listed at 2.825. With the 95gr Nosler bullet at the lands I get 2.969. My normal practice would be to set my OACL at 2.949. Would this be acceptable based on the rifle or should I stick with the OACL max?

TIA

If they fit in your mag, feed good and group well then longer than book COAL is fine. Closer you get to the lands the more pressure will go up so make sure you aren't getting pressure signs. Book COAL is a suggestion based on average gun build.
