Default Powder availability

Just a heads up for people looking for powder.
Higginson has had a delivery of some powders. It took a while to get through, but I was able to place an order.

The person that I spoke with said that they are really busy taking orders.
List of what is available is on their website.

I think it's more of a case of supply and demand, the Ammo manufacturers can't keep up with the need for ammo to supply the increase in gun/ammo sales.
That's what's eating up the powder/primer supplies, especially pistol stuff in the USA. Since there's no factory ammo on the shelves, more people are started to reload, an additional drain. Reloaders only make up a teeny little bit in sales amounts,we are not a concern as far as sales go.
Also ,while this is all going on, Europe recently banned one type of chemical, which was used in miniscule amounts in H powders, from what I've read that forced the Powder maker in Thales ,Aus. which makes most of the Extreme lines of H powder for Hodgdon,to rework their mix.
So ,it's a combination of factors, including the US Election.
My suggestion is if you find some buy it, situation isn't going to be resolved for some time.
