375 Win is just a bit hopped up 38-55. Lots of bear and moose have been taken by them. I have shot bear with the 375, and moose and bear, plus deer and lots of other stuff with the 38-55. Any 200 to 225 grain projectile at 2200 FPS or so will kill either one dead as a door nail. Varget and 4198 are both good but I tend to use more Varget as I get higher velocity at slightly lower pressure. There are still a couple of ,375 flat nose jacketed bullets available, The 375 is a true .375, the 38-55 is more like .378-.381, just so you know when you are orderring cast. Good to get cast bullets .002 larger than the bore.
