Default New rifle and caliber for my daughter

so my Daughter wants a new rifle and caliber
she already has a 270 win and a 308 win
but she figures she needs something with more oomff
so I have been trying to convince her to get one built just for her
that fits her properly
she is 5ft5 and 135 lbs recoils doesn't bother her at all
In a 300wsm with a nice recoil pad and muzzle brake
she keeps leaning towards a 7mm rem mag
I told her to get into reloading
she has all the equipment already
and get a 7mmsaum or a 300wsm
what would you guys think ????

I think that a 300 wsm would be the better choice for more oompfff, that being said a nice tikka hunter with a wood stock, easy to cut down and install a new recoil pad to fit her right. Can always keep the cut off and reinstall after she grows a bit (if that’s the case). A custom build wouldn’t hurt either, would be worth the extra money.

My friend has a 300 wsm for his only center fire rifle and his wife shoots it for deer hunting and bear, she handles it just fine and it doesn’t have a muzzle break. She isn’t an avid shooter either, probably 3-5 shots a year and she isn’t bothered by the recoil.

Why does she want more oomf? Has she had issues with the other Calibers in the past?

NO she has had no issues
she is just a gun nut she has more guns and more hunting equipment and gear then most men, blinds, tree stands, quads campers, boats, 4x4's , archery equipment and reloading equipment, she even has all the processing, equipment and processes her own meat
she puts in her time, hunting and scouting, more then most men do, when she comes to visit I lock all mine up in fear it might go missing LMAO
she is a die hard hunting attic, and she has done it all on her own, no help from the panty waste men she has had in her life
she hunts with her son and daughter (and me if I get out to AB in hunting season) only now
so like I told her get one built that is just for her , she has earned one custom built rifle in her life time
I have to laugh because she says men are just lazy and do it for the bragging purposes only,
with a Daughter like that who needs a son
here are a couple pics of her and the aminals she has taken

both those guns will take anything including moose and bear.

but if she wants a cannon, why not a lever action 45-70? not actually that bad to shoot (more of a push than a kick) and it's more fun than a bolt IMO :P

I mentioned that and she was not very keen on a lever action
she has 3 ruger number one's and an 1885 win in 22-250
so she don't want another single action either
she is more picky then old miss daisey I told her

It looks like she has enough experience with hunting and shooting , so I would say 300wsm. It would be quite a bit step up from her 308 win or 270.

Ok. Was just wonder, but I can absolutely relate to the "just because" factor. That bug bites me all the time too.
I vote 300 WSM as well. Have been hunting with one for years. Hand load for it and love the versatility of the round.

Im not a WSM fan, so I vote 300 Win Mag throated long for the 215 Berger's. Deadly combo with high BC bullet that is easy to tune and develop a load for. Mine finishes at 10 lb 2 oz with a NF SHV, Borden action, #3 Brux, Mcmillan Game scout, Jewel trigger. Load it up with H1000, Fed GM215M,215 Berger. Mines shoots the 215 right at 3000 fps. Don't know if she's into shooting long range. But if she is this combo can do it from close to WAY out there.
