Default Fishing Guides in Alberta

Hello all, I am looking into what may be required for starting a guiding outfit with my boat.
I would like to offer river fishing, lake trips and overnight trips as well as ice fishing.

I plan to start a company, get the proper insurance for my guests and boat.
I have current first aid and a boat license as well i have guided in Sask in the past and have alot of experience around alberta water fishing.

do i need any special permits or lease for fishing various lakes around alberta or have i pretty much got it all covered?

Thanks.
Any tips or advice GREATLY appeciated

your boat will need to be registered as a commercial water craft, for licensing you will likely at the minimum need to hold a MED A3 water craft license, check with your insurance company on what coverage you will need to operate commercially for liability etc....

I can’t help at all, but you definitely should call your outfit “Wicked Walleye Adventures”
