I just use meat scraps from the local abbattoir....its usually a mixture of beef and pork. And as for location, it depends if you plan to shoot over the bait or snare it....

Meat and table scraps dumped into a tub and filled with water, let it freeze and dump it out. There was a guy on here not long ago showed his "meatsicle", looks liek a great idea.
Try googling images of "coyote bait" or "bait for coyotes".
Alsp google "predator hunt canada", that sight is pretty nice as well.
Good luck and shoot straight.

hey there the baitcycle works great use it all the time, when ya fill the bucket with warm water it helps the blood blend with the water and has more of a smell. instead of your bait lasting 2 days an getttin dragged off its there for a week an they keep coming back.
