Default Ken Hilderbrand

I first heard of Ken on the AO and the news papers. His accident was spine chilling. Four days trapped under a quad .When I acquired my line the previous owner said Ken had ran the line with him.
July 09 at the ATA convention I met Ken and invited him out to the line.
Last week Ken made it out for a couple of days. He is a wealth of trapping lore and of the history of trapping in southern Alberta.
We did some driving on the line and showed me some old bait sites and trails. We took the sleds out and put on 15km.
Ken is one tough guy and will not give up. He has been back on his line already. It was a great couple of days!
Thanks Ken

Hey TM, Right on - great post! Looks like another beauty day on your trapline!

Sounds to me like it takes one tough SOB to trap...

Hope you are all doing well on your end,

TFG

Thats right Rob thanks. He taught my trappers course and I got his name mixed up. I couldn't imagine that, i got one hand snapped in a martin trap and thought I was gonna be wolf bait.

When he told me the story I was cringing the whole time. Worst I ever had was my thumb in a 120... and that was bad enough!
