Default Hide on tanning

Looking at starting to skin and tan coyote hides. Wondering if anyone has done it this way or have a better way to do it. I'm finding it hard to find the Aluminum Sulphate. Any thoughts welcome. Thanks, Demo

ALUM SULFATE
Iron-free, the best grade for tanning. Is used extensively in the tanning industry. Leaves the hide a natural light color.
