Default First Ice

Heading out for the first time tomorrow. Wondering if anyone has been to Wab, Pigeon, Battle, Buck, Lac Ste Anne, Lac la Nonne, or any other lakes in the area. I'll be wetting my line somewhere, just undecided and figured I would see if anyone has an ice measurement for me at any of the above. Thanks! Will report back after the day!

Slow day. Wab, 4-5" of ice, Star, 5-6" of ice, Lac Ste Anne, 5-6" of ice. Only a couple small pike and eyes landed at Wab.

Default First ice

Mayatan has 4-4.5" of ice, Devils lake by Onoway has 5"... only went out 30-40m out from the launches. Caught a bunch of small pike right away at Devils.... nothing at Mayatan in two hrs. Seen guys fishing on Star and Mink lakes on the way out. Heading out to Westlock-Athabasca area tomorrow.... will post ice conditions there tomorrow evening. Stay safe.
