Not too much snow, most of the popular spots have a pretty good trail.

Fishing has been hit and miss all winter. Some days great some days you wonder where they all went.

Good luck, and if you head up please share how you did!

There isn't much for perch in Calling, you are better off heading to Island Lake for perch. Seibert Lake has some decent perch too.

Sorry to rain on your parade.

Island Lake you don't have to try very hard to find some good eating size Perch. Amisk Lake is good too, right across the lake form the launch in like 10 to 15 feet of water against hat opposite shore you can catch buckets of perch.

IDK why you would go to Calling for Perch, its more of a walleye lake.

Or, you could just find a mid lake hump at Calling Lake like this young feller did:

Best of both worlds. Father and law and buddy can try for walleye and you can hunt perch.

Thinking about going up to calling lake tomorrow.
Can anyone comment on the conditions?
It will be my first time up there
summer or winter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
