Default First day out tagged cow moose

Got diagnosed as partially blind early in the year. First day out and this beauty walked right into me at 24 yards. Folded it on the spot! Backstraps and tenderloin for dinner last night was amazing! I'm hooked on archery now. Love proving the doctors wrong who said I wouldn't hunt again!

Hilarious pic.
I know someone who had a very expensive horse get shot by a rifle hunter. Imagine their surprise when they walked up on it thinking they were going to close a moose tag. The tracks on the way out were longer strides

This was put together by the Yukon Government and adopted by some First Nations in the Territory. What used to be a tradional culture is now deemed to be a bad idea and they are encouraging members to stop the practice.

A more accurate description is that the idea of eliminating a cow moose harvest was presented by the Yukon Government. The proposal was reviewed by individual First Nations and this document is one policy statement from the CAFN First Nation who decided to implement the proposal.
