Still not sure if he’s been scammed (let’s hope for the best) but the multiple stories of people coming through in the end does show that being scammed isn’t common on here. That was my point. This is the first instance I have heard of someone MAYBE being scammed by a long term member. I know I would feel better dealing with a long term member from the forum vs a person off of most common ad sites.

Good morning everyone. It has been over 10 days since Brad8210 was online I have recieved great advice and help from Ao members. He has not been banned, will not pick up the phone or answer texts. He was on Ao this morning at 1:18 pm. I sent him another PM. We will see. This would be 15 days today the package has been in the mail. If it was sent.
Have a good weekend

Best of luck. I sure hope it's just a misunderstanding or something.

I agree something is not right. I have been trying to contact him multiple multiple times. He has been given the chance to clear this up.
I just phoned the rcmp and created a file.
His number is 4039293742. He had 2 other firearms for sale on buy and sell. His number is now disconnected.
Buyer beware everyone.

Realistically, there are lots of guys who have fallen on really hard times. There are some people who will do things they never would have if they get hard enough up. Hard to believe he won't just call you and explain but between financial hardship, divorce, addictions, health and many other issues, many previously good guys end up going way south. Too bad.

Hope the RCs manage to give you some help and you get your cash back.

I wanted to give him a chance to correct it. But I should have called the cops earlier. I agree it's not alot of cash but frustrating all the same.

I have a brand new never fired Chiappa Double Badger .22/410 combo in my safe that I have never and probably will never use. I will gladly give it to your daughter....for free....
But it’s not pink.

Be careful with the Chiappa. A coworker recently almost lost an eye with his. When closing the action the .22 round went off prior to it being fully closed. The .22 head burst sending debris into the center of his nose which required plastic surgery to remove. Stuck firing pin or what I don't know but that's dangerous crap. Do not know if he is taking any legal action. JUST SAYING...

I have quite a few friends who use that same rifle and never had an issue with it . Anything can and will sometimes happen with equipment be it a cat, welding machine or a rifle .

My father’s 280 was built on an action that was originally a 30’06 , my friend’s wife jumped out of the cabin one day to shoot a fox and the barrel blew into two pieces from muzzle to breach , no idea why and no it was not blocked .
Honda610 has extensive experience with firearms but I am sure he will take your warning under advisement
