Thanks for the welcome. #2 down. lol

I'll keep working on those first 20.

Not from Alberta, nor have I ever been... yet.

Hoping to get out this coming fall to do a horse back riding trip.

Just bump a bunch of four year old threads, that seems like the way it's often done.

Welcome Wally! So what province are you in? (There you go a freebie opening for post three)

Hey TFNG, thanks for the welcome. I live in Ontario, here now, for 30+ years.
A transplanted Newf that didn't make it that far west. haha
My handle here is the same as on CGN.

Love my Winchester and colts. Just an old cowboy at heart I guess.

Just read the "scammer post" and it is a tad scary!

I won't bump up the old posts, I'll just do it honestly.

But looking for a henry mare's leg 22. hint hint

Well when you get up in numbers around 1000 posts we might consider what your selling or wanting to buy, but if your a BCer, you would be good to go from post 1!

Crap, I dunno whether to tell you you are blessed or cursed when it comes to your Government, after what the people in our provincial office have been doing!!

At 50 years old, I've been hunting a grand total of 2 whole years. Life and family kept me from starting any earlier, although I did hunt with my dad when I was a kid.
So far it's been ducks, geese, and deer. Ducks are fun!

Yup, ducks are VERY cool!
I would, imagine being from Ontario you hunted mostly water over there?
In Manitoba we hunted water danged near exclusively, whether is was jump shooting or decoy spreads.

Why not just make 20 posts the same day? They don't have to be essays.

Hi wally, meet dave. he is AO's resident curmudgeon who even has a sticky at the top of the page to help you and your experience with AO more enjoyable for Dave.

If Dave has read a thread already and later on someone posts a similar thread, dave will let them know, as dave likes everyone to be on the same page as him, literally.

if you like salt and pepper on your eggs, dave will let you know that he doesn't like pepper and your eggs would be more palatable if you ate them like him.

Excuse me for trying to help someone out.
If you can't figure that out, then I can't help you.
Btw...why don't you tell us your former AO handle.

Dave's opinion actually made me like Dave. Sharing opinions and thoughts keeps things interesting. In the short time I've been on the forum I've learned who you can sway and who you can not. I'm open to anyone's comments that may broaden my horizon on differing opinions. That way I can say I learned something new today !

oh, I do agree, but there are opinions and then there are the micromanaging of actions.
