Default Undercover Animals Catch Poachers

Interesting. Using remote control decoys to catch poachers. Genius if you ask me.

When I worked for the MNR (back in the land of bums and scum) I remember the old plywood moose silhouette that was full of holes, and it wasn't from target practice either. The CO's had some pretty cool stories about the moose that never dies. I guess now they are using high tech versions.

In fact, he said, some of the most realistic-looking decoys have been shot 100 times or more.

I suck, only 7/12.

12/12 but both bears were pretty much a coin flip that I got right. The neck line was what I went by on the others.

I saw a robo buck way back in the early 90's on Manitoulan Island, ON. At first glance it looked real and we stopped to have a look. The head and ears moved but something seemed odd and we couldn't put our finger on it. Turned the corner and there were the Wardens. I'm sure that it'd fool someone that was in a hurry to jump out of the truck and shoot it though.

111/12.....the #11 wolf fooled me.

Got one of them last fall Bowhunting, rather tough and not much meat once you get he hide off. Wife had to marinate the innards for weeks but was still tough.
