Norther bobcat
What a rush. 12 miles south of Valleyview. A magnificent animal and definitely a high point in a slow season

Got a picture up now, tried to rotate it but no luck. Just over 25 pounds, I think that's big but not sure.

Bob Cat
Dugh, well done, very nice lynx cat, nice spots, should get good price if you send to auction. Just too bad we do not have $1000 lynx cat prices these days.

Congrats! That sucker must have been lost! I've been watching those smaller US state auctions and lynx cat have sold for BIG bucks. The high at the recent Montana auction was +US$1100.
That looks to have a really nice belly so you might have just won the trapper's lottery.

Lynx Cat
Dave, Doug will sure enjoy that $1100 US price if it holds to FHA Auction. Doug how about cash price, no risk $500 Ca? 'Bird in Hand'

HaHa BGW, good one, that's a once in a lifetime catch. It's going on our wall, or maybe a rug along with a big tom lynx from this season. (if the taxidermist ever phones back). We got a very late start this year, but we caught some interesting stuff (2 raccoons in Sturgeon County). It's was a very good year for mange and lice less than 10%. Beaver soon hopefully.

Lynx cat
Good to see they may be spreading north in Alberta, may be result of warmer winters and lots of rabbits.

Beautiful catch ,.congrats
Love those belly spots ,dont blame you for keeping it , I kept my last one too . A FHA depot agent said 2 other locals sold theirs the same time I got mine and they went for over $700 and that was about 8 years ago so you never know what it would bring .
