Alligator Meat...Who sells It.
Anywhere sell Alligator Meat in Alberta. Would be fun to serve that at Christmas rather then turkey. Pertinant Question is where do you put the stuffing?

Would love to get my hands on some. Been a while since i've been to Cajun house in St. Albert, but they served some great alligator jumbalaya and sausage.

I ate it once, long time ago. It taste like chicken but has a texture like a pork. That’s all I remember.

I remember alligator tasting a bit more fishy, but that could have just been the preparation.
Guga Foods had an interesting video about dry aging alligator a while back.
I have no idea where to get it. Now you have me thinking.

Used to eat it occasionally when I worked in New Iberia Louisiana, it was on the menu at a little sea food place we used to frequent to hang the feed bag on, ate a lot of Cajun sea food, good eats.

Buffalo Valley Meats at Whitemud Crossing and T&T Supermarkets were carrying it. I don't know if supply chain issues have impacted their supply but you can call both and check. If they don't have any they may know who does.

I'm curious too. City Fish claims to be the only Authorized distributor in Canada for Alligator. Nothing on their website for pricing.
