who or where is the best gun smith in the edmonton area? what i am wanting to do is get my stock bedded and a muzzlebreak.

Depends on the type of work you want, but for the most part he is the go to guy around these parts. If he can't do it 100% properly, he will tell you so. He won't take a job and goof it up. Good guy to chat with too.
