Default New BOw SIght

What's everybody got for a sight? and what would you recommend. Time to get a new one as I"m tired of my extreme 900's bins and optics constantly breaking. Thanks for any advice. Cheers Pheasantnut

I had the same issue with fibers breaking in my cobra sidewinder.

I now have a sword accusite and it seems good. .010 Pins are bright to boot!...

I tried a lot of sights and Spot-Hogg is the best one out there; but I do like the looks of the sight that G5 has out.

Yeah I've heard good things about the Spott Hogg, but my problem is I'm a lefty and and they don't make a left handed sight. Anybody out there have a copper John DN 2?

I've had my copper john for 3 or 4 years now.... No problems, I'd recommend it. Another sight that looks pretty good is some of the ones made by SWORD

I'm sure Spott hogg does make a left handed model.

I only use 2 pins for hunting 25 yards and 40 yards. This work for yardages up to 45 yards for me. I aim high/low according. I don't like too many pins.

I want to try those .010 pins and a light

I just picked up a new Spott Hogg for my bow and it is built solid, I am very impressed with it.

Thanks JohnB for the web link. Everywhere I was looking (ie Cabelas) listed RH model only, so I made an assumption that they only made RH models....once again I learned what happens when one makes assumptions

Has anyone tried the peep eliminator with the copper john DN2? I am having issues with my right eye and was wondering if their dominant eye kit would let me shoot better. I have never seen them until Wildtv though. Now I use steel pins dipped in orange paint. Ive seen a few guys break the fiber optics. It's been a few years though.

Just got a Black Gold Flashpoint 5-pin for my new DXT. Not sure howm much i like it yet, but it is supposed to really collect a lot of light at dawn and dusk, so i guess i will see this spring. Seems like i spent a lot of money to get all camo'ed stuff, but this sight has a big white plastic cover over it, hopefully not enough to draw any attention to the bow or myself. I also had a sword accusite on my Drenalin, the only trouble i ever had was at the calgary archery center with their lighting. I could only really see the super small .10 pins when i had my sight light on, without it i could not clearly see the pins.
