Default Shotgun reloading?

I used to reload shotgun ammo back in the 80s. Sold off all my gear back then. Nowadays is it easy to get all the components like it used to be?
Kinda kickin the idea around of getting back into it. I imagine with the price increases of components the savings are not near what they used to be. But more curious if components are easily attainable?

Primers are the issue now, they are difficult to find, and expensive. The selection of powder, is also limited. You won't save anything loading 12 gauge target loads. You save a bit on 20 gauge, but the real savings are for 16 and 28gauges, and 410.

Primers at $85, shot $75 to $80+, few powder choices at high prices, wads shipping expensive - only savings are 16 and 28 gauge and .410 as already mentioned.

Even Cheddite primers were above $100 locally, when I bought some this winter. My cost to load 410 and 28 gauge target loads was around $9 per box this winter, compared to under $6, a year ago. But with factory 410 and 28 at $23 per box, it is still a huge savings. 12 gauge costs over $10 per box, because you use more shot and powder, but you can buy them on sale for $11-12. At $1-2 per box savings, it will take several years just to pay off a press for 12 gauge.

Cheddite primers were $75 plus GST and shipping from Hummason, in my last order. Shipping cost for shot from Ontario has increased significantly.
