Default spring bear with a little fishing?

Hey all. I've only ever hunted in AB and would like to do some fishing this year during my spring bear hunt. How many of you guys and gals make a fishing/hunting trip? Any tips for fishing the Berland River as I have never fished before only hunting! thanks

I have never had much luck on the streams and rivers in the early spring. Water levels are often high and the water is dirty. But I’ve never regretted a day I went stream fishing even if I didn’t catch anything lol.

When I’ve fished the Berland I’ve had the best luck in the later half of summer.
